My Intentions

So we are just a few days away from the start of the 30 Day Yoga Challenge to benefit Citizen Effect.  Here are a few intentions I’ve set for the month.

Practice Every Day
I said practice every day, not 90 minutes everyday, not in a studio everyday–I will get on my mat every day for 30 days and see where it leads me

Record Each Day in a Blog Post
I’ll share the experience in a blog post each day.

Develop a Home Practice
I smell a blog post on this one–I’ve wanted to develop a home practice for a while now, here’s my chance.

Visit Each Participating Yoga Studio
This is a great opportunity to check out studios I haven’t yet visited. Looking forward to it!

Try Out Yoga Styles I Don’t Usually Practice
My practice is pretty solidly vinyasa flow. This month I’m curious to try some Kundalini, Jivamukti maybe even some Bikram–I’m gonna stretch my yoga wings and see what I discover.

Try a Private Yoga Class
I’ve been curious to try a private yoga session or two and see where it takes my practice, the challenge offers some discounted opportunities to try out a private. Can’t wait.

Collect a Donation a Day
I’m lucky to have many generous friends. I intend to collect 30 donations in 30 days. Every little bit will help the children in Cloetesville South Africa. If you’d like to donate, please click here, its fast and easy.
